Woohoo, blue egg
Checked the doghouse today. Got my first blue egg. One of the Amercaunas is finally laying.

my wife has pet ? chickens assorted varieties some days it looks like Easter with the different colored eggs
she told me not long ago that's it no more chickens the ones we have are are getting old and have as many rooster's as chickens ( we keep the separate ) then last week she said next spring she is planning on getting more but make sure there hens

I've got a good friend that has chickens and she is totally enamored by them. She posts the cutest pictures of them all of the time and she's always telling me about what they are up to. She gets all sorts of colors and calls them her jewels. I love it. I wish I had the tenacity to keep chickens because they seem like a lot of fun. 0 -
