Navy arms type 84 sks
Hi,
I recently acquired a Navy arms type 84 sks. It has the the bolt hold open button, a 16 in barrel, bayonet and takes ak mags. All of the numbers match. However, it did not come with the original serial numbered mag. I am wondering what this gun is worth. Thanks

By the way, I think you will have to modify an AK mag to work with that rifle. 0 -
Thanks i wasn't able to find the "t84" listing before but thats exactly it. I found the para but its not exactly the same since it does not take ak mags. Also, I have one modified mag for the rifle, but not the original. ThanksRicci.Wright said:https://www.gunbroker.com/item/874926388

Interesting! I always thought, that the Model "D" SKS's . Were just the standard military SKS, modified to take a AK mag. Didn't know, they had a entirely different version with a short barrel. That Navy Arms imported.
Considering how few and far between, and valuable are the Model "D's". You got yourself a high dollar sleeper, for sure. Surprised the one on the auction, only brought 4 figures. Would have thought, that it would have been at least twice that value wise. At least to a SKS collector.0 -
Nice score Cowboychaz.
Looks like you got a sleeper.
