Anyone noticed Cabela's guns sales? Weatherby vanguard $149.97??????????

Anyone noticed Cabela's on-line guns sales, rifles listed on closeout dirt cheap
One example: Weatherby vanguard $149.97 at this link

Go to cabelas and search rifles. Lot of others listed as closeout.
Keep a heads up. When something sounds too good to be true, well you know.
I have not tried to purchase, I'm just passing along the info.
Reckon Cabela's is getting rid of them thinking maybe Biden will take away all the ammo sales and they will be useless.

    Agreed - they have attractive prices on closeouts, but they are also sold out on every firearm I looked at in my area. The "Available in Store" button is not working for me.

    looks to me they're just trying to get folks looking at their stuff ,
    pretty much a joke , I went thru 20 pages / 320 guns , every gun that was really marked down was out of stock or not available to be shipped to stores in WI,

    That was my reaction when I saw the Colt O1991 for $419.97.
    This type of marketing does nothing for me, in fact I'm now less likely to shop at Cabela's now

    There's (1) "floor model" which has been dropped a few times, located at the Nome, Alaska store.

    yup and if you've ever purchased a gun from them you know what a pain in the back side they are , takes about 2 hours just to go thru their system of checks

    Local Cabelas opened at 10:00.  I was on the phone with them at 10:01 with a list of SKU numbers.  Gent on the other end did some checking- The guns on clearance are available only at a location that has the gun on the shelf- at those prices, will not ship to another Cabelas for pickup.   I am crushed, devastated, heartbroken.  Had my list of 5 guns that was going on Mastercard- alas, not to be.

    Just picked up a Thompson Center Venture 308 on clearance at Bass pro for 210.00  The Bass pro here had the vanguards just not in the chambering that I was interested in

    Would be a great deal except they are "OUT OF STOCK" on most guns you would want.

    Went to an indoor range yesterday.  Very low inventory of handguns almost no ammo.  Stopped at a pawn shop after.  Better inventory but a box for 9mm FMJs.

    Good thing I reload.   Shot my LCP for the first time after adding a laser.  I like it.  A friend added a cheap laser to his S&W 9mm and shot a lot better.  He wants to upgrade to a brighter one for shooting outside.
