Thank you, one of the greats. I have never seen that video and did not know there was a bass player in the group. I could not ever hear it. I like Brubeck's early music. Later not so much, very esoteric.

A magnificent arrangement. Take Five is a classic example of a song which nearly everyone has heard, but not everyone can name.

Played in five four time, pretty odd beat. First recorded in 1959.

The first Jazz album I bought in the very 60's when I was in high school. Still my favorite jazz album today, and I listen to it often, though there are more than 80 jazz albums in my library since then.
