Coming Home -
My Son and his Girlfriend, asking if they can come to my place when things get ugly.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

yeah but what did buddy say????? 0 -
Happy to have them. (But) He was shocked when I asked "what are you showing up with, what do you bring to the table?" (As a gut check.)
Said he and Tara would be another lookout and man a gun. I said, that is a given - what else?
Trying to let him know, it is/has been on him to plan ahead. I did eventually tell him, "Of course you are welcome here, I would never deny you that."

you do know if there is going to be a woman in the house you will need 3x-4x the toilet paper, I personally think they eat it or something........ tell him to bring a trunkful 3 -
My BIL and SIL know they can come to my place but not to come empty handed.Like we used to say; a55 gas or grass nobody rides for free

I did say, so you are going to show up and consume 2/3rds of the food, water etc. I have accumulated over years? What have you been doing? (Again, gut check.)
Of course, I will take them in.

They live in Denver, and have been seeing up close and personal, the chaos that has ensued.
Thankfully, they agree and see the BS involved.

Sitting here laughing. Our GRANDCHILDREN are all adults- and the plan is in the event of a zombie apocalypse, they are all meeting at Granddad's- and bring the guns and supplies with them. We have plenty of room, a well and a wood burning furnace. Room for a couple of acres of garden, a small vineyard and orchard. Micah 4, verse 4. Y'all are welcome to visit- just ring the bell, and stay on the path. 0 -
One thing I did not discuss with him, but will need to - is by the time you think it is bad enough to run for the hills, how do you think you will be able to drive cross Country?
Something he/they need to think about.
