     good for him to stand up for his rights next to MLK 
     as for  wasting tax payers money and riding the milk and honey wagon in politics for decades and his district is still just a stink hole  another good reason for term limits  .

    Yep! Flags flown at half-staff this week by Presidential Order. Lying in state next Monday. Lot of folks in D.C. had a great deal of respect for the man.

    All one has to do is remember who his associates have been during his lifetime, and remember that the Civil Rights Movement was not a rose garden to begin with.  Pure and simple, he and his associates have been the cause of more burned American flags, and comparing it with the Nazi flag more times than you can shake a stick at in a month of Sundays tells the world all they REALLY need to know.  No rocket science necessary to figure that out.

    Just saw my first commercial "honoring him" today.

    I agree with truthful. If it had been Joe White Dude, with the same record you wouldn't have heard a word. (And) Rightfully so.

    I read the itenerary for his funeral today in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.  Unreal. 
    It will start off, his body will be in Alabama and taken to the Pettis Bridge where he got whacked on the head in 1964.
    They will spend one week ferrying his body all across the country to "lie in state" in various places, winding up at the US Capitol.
    Sounds like the motorcade, by train, of President Lincoln after his death.

    I admire the work that young John Lewis did, but they are getting a little carried away.

    It's a big election year and they must keep the flame alive for socialism to thrive to have more free welfare and giveaways with The Democrat Party. Of course The Republicans do  likewise for tax cuts for the wealthy. If you are in the middle you get squeezed coming and going. It won't be long before it's played out on both sides.
