Scanning Bidders

I have had to start watching the bidders on my items for sale on the auction side and blocking some due to terrible feedback. I blocked one today that had exactly one feedback; a F for not paying. He changed his bidder name but GB caught him and when I checked his old id came up. Lots of low life showing up now.

  My understanding is that the "no bid" list will take effect for future auction bids.  Those already made are still valid.

  That is correct but it will stop them from placing a higher bid on the item still in play.

  A potential gotcha:  If the "now blocked" buyer previously entered a maximum bid higher than the current bid and another buyer bids an amount between the current bid and the "now blocked" buyer's maximum bid, the "now blocked" buyer's "existing" bids - up to the maximum bid amount entered - would (I believe) be allowed by the software.
