  Actually it is up less than $2 for a spot price of $23 and change. But that is almost 7% in one day. Money in CDs at a bank goes up about 1-2% in a YEAR.
   My FFL charged me 1 oz. of silver for a firearms transaction; a good deal when silver was stuck under $15. Now I have a lot of new guns, but my silver horde is almost gone.
