Elizabeth Linscott got tested for COVID-19 as a precaution before going to visit family in Michigan last Saturday, WAVE-TV reported. She tested positive, but does not have any symptoms.
The Hardin County Health Department sent her documents that needed her signature limiting her from traveling anywhere unless she called them first.
She said she refused to sign the documents because of how they were worded, not because she refused to quarantine.
“My part was if I have to go to the ER, if I have to go to the hospital, I’m not going to wait to get the approval to go,” Linscott told the TV station.
Days later, authorities arrived to their home and placed ankle monitors on her and her husband. They go off if either goes more than 200 feet from their home.

This is truly a magical virus. If you are an asymptomatic carrier and do not know it, your mask will protect those with whom you interact. If, however, you are unlucky enough to fail a magical Covid test, the mask does not protect others, and you have to be confined to your house without even having a judge review your case.

The way I see it if you just watch people wearing masks you will agree that they are all but worthless. Constant on and off, pulling and poking, adjusting, you name it. If those that are so offended by those that do not choose to wear a mask, stay the heck at home and be "safe".I really wonder why the big box stores with thousands of customers and employees get to stay open when the small mom and pop stores are not allowed to operate. I think that this is a genuine case of government overreach. Their county health department has misunderstood, & misapplied, instructions & guidance from CDC.The form that the couple signed could have condemned them to death; they were forbidden to use a public ambulance to get to the hospital. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THAT EXTREMELY SICK COVID-19 PATIENTS SHOULD GET TO THE HOSPITAL.
Most state & local health departments do not understand the disease, & their ignorance is getting people sick. All covid-19 tests have false positives & false negatives. But, most departments don't tell people which test they are to be given & it's accuracy rate. In this case, the couple should simply have been advised to self quarantine for 14 days; if they have no symptoms after that, they are considered to be covid-free.
There was no good reason to put them through a fuster cluck.Neal

Mindlessly following stupid laws, made by stupid people who have no forward vision for what they are doing and no logical reason why they are doing it is Anti-American.
If everyone would simply take the time to really think about the near term (6+ months) effect of mask wearing, they would realize that:
1. It will not reduce the total number of cases of the magical Covid.
2. It will not reduce the total number of deaths claimed by the magical Covid.
3. It will only prolong the viability window of the magical Covid by delaying the immunity that occurs naturally because we are somehow better off by waiting 6 months to a year for a manufactured concoction that does the same damn thing for 99.9% of the people as does getting the damn virus.
Wear a mask if you are concerned for your own health.
Wear a mask if you are in contact with people in a vulnerable situation.
Why the hell anyone would wear a mask outside as has been mandated by some idiot governors is beyond the scope of logical thought. It is mindless conditioning, and a whole bunch of people just accept it.0 -

Nope! They didn't get it.Only 50% of wearing a mask is protecting the wearer.The other 50% is protecting other people.When other people wear a mask it makes me feel much safer (whether they believe it works or not isn't the point).
Folks that refuse to respect their fellow man are just...just...well, sad.Also consider the possibility that social distancing and masks are preventing other diseases.

I get it. I have gotten it from day 1!! The day they had the headlines screaming 2.2 million Americans are GOING TO DIE, OH MY GOD, WE ARE GOING TO DIE!!! I laughed at that headline, I knew it was BS from day one. I told my wife at that time the death loss will be no worse than the death loss from swine flu, maybe less. So far the death loss is less than swine flu.
There are those of you who will say that I didn't know that. Sorry, but yes I did know that, I have a long memory. I'm 73. I started paying attention to the news and politics at 15 or 16 years of age. That is more than 55 years ago. Starting with the book "The Silent Spring" I have been hearing WE ALL ARE GOING TO DIE pretty much at the rate of every year or two. The new ice age, global warming, NYC under water by the year 2000, glaciers covering the northern part of the country by 1990, acid rain, GMOs, DDT, we can no longer raise enough food, we will be dying of starvation by 1980, I mean the list is ongoing and never ending. I didn't list 5% of the BS, politically driven agendas all made to scare us because most people today are terrified of dying. If we had been this bunch of pathetic cowardly wussies from the start of our country we would have been ruled by the British king, at least until the 40s, and all those things which took a set of balls and a backbone would never have happened. To begin with since the mid 40s we would have been speaking German. To repeat myself, we as a Nation, have become a cowardly group of total losers.
