Is COVID-19 Wuhan Virus Vaccine Resistant?
Now, a study produced by researchers at King’s College London is showing recovered patients antibodies declined significantly within months of infection, raising the critical question of whether a vaccine could ever provide lasting protection. Moderna's vaccine candidate has shown the capacity to produce antibodies in test subjects, but it's still unclear exactly how much protection this might provide.
University of Nottingham Emeritus Professor in Immunology Herb
Sewell, who consulted on the study, said it appeared to show that
antibodies to the virus disappeared more quickly than antibodies for
MERS and other coronaviruses. Viruses like SARS elicited an immune
response that lasted at least a couple of years.

Covid is like sars virus. I never got a vaccine for that either. They were working on a vaccine for sars, then it died out and they tabled the development. That development was restarted with covid. The power brokers in big pharma will not let this one run its course and die out. No money in that. 0 -
blind and stupid..still calling china our most favored trading partner when we should send ALL their Chit back..... 0 -
A few of us were having a discussion a day or two ago. It was around the basic question: "What if the COVID 19 virus never goes away?" A corollary was "It appears that all the eggs are in the vaccine basket. What if the virus mutates faster than the vaccines can follow?" Some interesting comments came out of the discussion. One was the observation that the vast majority of the world's problems are due to way too many people. 0 -
Could it have been a bio-weapon that was accidentally or intentionally released? Of course...anything is possible.
Could it be a naturally occurring virus that has the ability to mutate rapidly as a defensive mechanism? Yes.
We have used vaccines to fight viruses and diseases for over a century. At some point a virus that is very simple in its make up builds up a resistance to medications and starts to mutate to not respond to any chemical treatment.
Mother Nature is a serial killer. It has happened many times in history. Nature has a way of balancing out the population when it tends to exceed the capabilities that the area or world has (think CWD in deer population).0 -
There will never be an effective vaccine for this, Virus's mutate all the time and any vaccine for one stain will not be effective on another. We have had flu vaccines for years and it is usually no more than 50% effective in any given year, Do you think the Corona one will be any better? 0 -
a reliable treatment will bejust as good if not better than a vaccine............. 0
