If you can’t sleep at night you can come and work with Gary and I. Half of the guys that are on the night shift can’t go all night with out a “nap”. I never have had the need for a “nap” in working nights over 40 years.

Thanks for the offer Gary . Melatonin gives me the worst and weirdest nightmares I have ever experienced

Ambien is the only thing that works for me that doesn't give me a hangover. Luckily I have a doctor that is not a liberal weenie that will write me a prescription for it.  Other doctors act like it's heroin when you mention it.

If you can’t sleep tonight you can go in and run my machine shop in the tunnel. I have taken the night off. All you have to do is look like you know what your doing and be grouchy. 🥴

Good to hear you knee is on the mend.  After my last few surgeries, I refused pain meds as soon as possible.  I-V Tylenol was a god send the first day, but after that, when they started pushing the opiods, it was a no go.  Could think, couldn't read, couldn't sleep.  The pain was much easier to take, frankly.

Good luck with your therapy.  My Aunt had both knees done when in her late 70s, and has never looked back.

Try a benadryl. That's what they gave me after my hip replacement. I had to stay 2 days.
