Fake Bidders
I have noticed a recent rise in what I am calling Fake Bidders on GB to run up the price of ammo. Popular sellers have a no reserve and then the first several bidders are NR and have opened recent accounts. They will bid later in a day or so when the price is up and then you don't see them any more. I'm wondering if the sellers are behind this practice?

I would imagine shill bidding occurs on most auction sites to some extent. My guess would be the GB is better than most, as it is more specialized and, for the most part, people in this industry seem to be more honest than the average person on the street. Negative speculation about the auction side is not something that will last very long over here, but if you are confident that there is a problem with a specific seller and you can document it, the auction side would probably be interested. 0 -
