Knee surgery
Surgery went well . Physical therapist just left and had me up and walking the hall with the help of a walker . Tomorrow we will walk and navigate some steps and then go home . Home pt to start on Saturday for the next three weeks .

I remember when that was a loooong surgery and an even longer recovery. Glad medicine has advanced and you were able to get it done quickly. Caution obligatory nagging alert! Do what the therapists tell you! 😊 Bob 0 -

Good to hear.
Do your therapy and take your pain meds to stay ahead of the pain.
Then, stool softeners because of the pain meds.
I’ve had my left hip redone once and the right one, twice.

you may find sleeping on the couch easier for a few days if you can bend the new knee and lean it on the back of the couch as you lay it will hold it in position if you can sleep flat on your back, I had to do this after my hip replacement when the pain got to bad to lay in bed, good luck and as others have said DO YOUR THERAPY it hurts now but will pay off in month or so..... 0
