Local indoor range up For Sale,,,

Only a few years old. Really nice range.  The owner put it up for sale.  Five and a half million.  
If a few of us go in together,,,,

    Looks like a range that was built around here in the same time frame.  We have heard it cost 3 million to build.  Now we are hearing that they are ready to close.  I just do not see how these ranges can survive.  The annual cost for memberships is ridiculously high especially when we have so many outdoor ranges and indoor ranges at various clubs for very small fraction of the cost at this fancy range.

    Just plain bad timing and too much expense for the area.
    Opened in 2017, drawing from a population of 47,000 approximately.
    Mortgage = $34,000 per month...
    Average income = $51,000
    Average home value @ $300,000
    February 2020 = Covid-19 puts the lid on businesses which require larger volumes of people inside in order to make money. The local population isn't nearly large enough to support this kind of cost.
    At $34,000 a month in mortgage payments, I doubt there's anyone who will show interest in this business for quite a while, unfortunately. It's a beautiful facility with lots of potential but the timing really stinks!

    We are fortunate to have 3 major indoor shooting/training clubs in Scottsdale, where there's lots of money...
    Ben Avery outdoor shooting facility is huge, managed by AZ Fish and Game.

    Yeah,,,,,but don’t yer bullets get ‘soggy’ before they hit the target ???  :D

    Those new Hornady ELD's they claim have heat shield tips and Doppler Radar Tested...

    I was on a waiting list for 2 plus years before I could get a membership at my sportsman club. Mighty glad to have a safe place to shoot. Also can hunt and fish there
