Serial Numbers on Receivers

Bought a new polymer pistol with only visible serial number on a replaceable barrel. Could not see anything of  an internal number on the fire control trigger assemble in the plastic polymer receiver. Where are they hidden? Any ideas or info would be appreciated.

    My pistol does not offer replacement polymer grip change outs like the Sig-Sauer line it's a Walther PQQ 45.

  I have a PPQ 9mm and the serial number on the frame is at the rear of the grip and above the backstrap:
