Old bones and hammocks or accident prone part 2
My finger is healing nicely and I took the stitches out a few days ago . Taking a break from grass cutting I stop to talk to my wife who is in the pool . I decide to take a few minutes in the hammock,wrong idea , Been swinging in one all my life . Today it immediately flipped and dumped me on my back Immediately
lose my breath and feel sharp pain in my chest . I thought it was a pulled muscle but its beginning to feel
Ike a couple of cracked ribs . Which I have had before .Guess this means a trip to the emergency room for X-rays . Bummer is if they are cracked there is nothing they can do for it treatment wise and most likely I will have to cancel my knee replacement scheduled for 7/15 . So ready for things to improve and 2020 to be over

you should know those hammocks are only for the young, even if you manage to get in one, only way out is to flop on the floor........ hope all turns out OK, that knee replacement will make a rough summer of it, but better now so you can get out in the warm than in cold weather stuck looking out the windows. 0 -

No fractures just some pulled / torn muscles on the chest wall . Still hurts like #<?€^*?**! Can't take the anti inflammatory drugs due to gi bleeding so will have to tuff it out with Tylenol 0 -
I can't remember EVER using a hammock. Dad told me about spending what seemed like an interminable length of time in a hammock on the boat ride to the Mediterranean in WW2. He didn't have a good word to say about hammocks. I haven't been bucked off a horse for decades and sure wouldn't want to get dumped by a hammock. 0 -

Mobuck , last horse that I was bucked off of was close to 40 years ago . The hammock hurt worse !

Go ahead Asop . It hurts when I laugh , breath or move . Turning over in bed is the absolute worst ! And don’t even think about getting choked and coughing ☹️
