My old stomping grounds at RAF Lakenheath in the UK. I was there fifty years ago working on F-100s. Fifty years before me, it would have been biplanes..We've come a long way..

  It is amazing how far we have come in aircraft.  What I don't understand is how we have not come as far in space travel.  We landed on the moon 50 years ago and other than the Shuttle it does not look like we came as far in space travel.
  That would be a dream come true to fly in the F-15.  I was able to do the rear seat in an L39 but still nothing like the F-15.
