If the Liberals get their way there will be none.  Full control of the House, Senate and Potus the AR s will be outlawed.  That is when the 2nd amendment out forefathers drafted will no longer be worth the paper it is written on to me.  When the truck comes around to voluntary pitch the AR s in like a lot of other countries peoples have done mine will have to be taken with force.  I have broken no laws and do not have a criminal record, but I will stand up for my 2nd amendment rights,  I will not be placed like the unarmed peoples of a lot of other countries were the masses can be controlled without any resistances.

A local gun shop owner told me a few years ago that he heard 30 million AR type rifles in public hands. I know that seems a stretch.

Neither King Cuomo or Supt State Police will say how many registered in NYS. Estimated 200,000 registered. Believed to be one million in state.

My closest Friend/Brother, lived in Warwick NY. [I lived in Greenwood Lake, NY.] (Prior Service 2nd of the 75th Rangers) had/has an extensive collection. Got tired of screwing with NY State. Move to PA. 2 hour commute each way. Head of Maintenance for the NYC bus service, and surrounding area. Sez, "It's worth it."

All that was coming on line, before I moved. We ALL said, No F'n Way. Bite Me Cuomo.

I moved to Extreme NE TN.

The number is important in reminding the Elected Masters to the fact we only loan them power.  "WE THE PEOPLE" own and have the right to control this Nation, not them.  The elected masters have no Constitutional or God given right to rule us although you gotta give them credit for trying their darnedest to do so.

at this current time I think it is much more important to vote most if not all of them out instead of back in...........

I'm looking for one of them there "assault rifles" the liberals have been talking about.  Read this morning that over 2.4 million guns were bought last month by worried people.  Bet  few of them were AR's.

Round here the high end guns are in short supply. Elcheapos are still on the shelf. Tell you anything about who is buying what?

Over five or six years my nephews have given me all the parts for a very nice AR 15. Watched a few hours of youtube learned some of the good and bad assembly tricks. I didn't need one but now that I have one. I'm going to put a couple thousand rounds through it.

Like you Ed, I have way more than I need. (I do not need to go Panic Buy anything.) It is however a good thing that a bunch more people are finally Waking Up, and taking responsibility for their own protection.

    Molon Labe'.

Actually the number registered is in the vacinity of fifty to seventy -five thousand. The State Police estimate varies between 1.5 million and three million. That's why Andy and company don't talk about it. Fifty -two out of sixty-two NY State Counties have passed resolutions against the NY SAFE ACT. An unenforcable and failed law. If that's the true count, I can't imagine how many ARs are in the rest of the country.

Shear numbers rarely communicate the true meaning of what's taking place with this elevated level of purchasing.
Think for a moment about who is doing the buying. Those that are scared and want some feeling of security. Those that also lack any training or education regarding the safe handling and use of firearms. They are now included in the mass number of firearms owners without taking on any of the responsibility of ownership. This could go very badly... :s

I lost every singe one of my AR type rifles 5.56's, 300BO's, 450BM's and the 9MM.  I was crossing a deep lake in a canoe when the unthinkable happened.
