Promoted to level 4!

Mr. Perfect
I suppose this means I get an internet cookie!  :)

I have exactly no idea what it means actually. In fact, I'm sure it's meaningless for anything other than the entertainment value of this post (if one can find any EV in this post, that is).

    I wish I knew what some of these badges, levels, and promotions actually meant. As I mentioned before, when we made the switch in January, I contacted Vanilla Forums and requested a glossary of terms. Instead of assistance, all I got for my trouble were spam emails urging to start my own forum.

    Given our varied membership base and the amount of time many of us spend online, it is surprising that no one here is familiar with Vanilla Forums.  It must be an obscure forum format.

    Well @mark christian I've never heard of it and I recommended a couple options (to no avail) to those in charge when I learned they were considering switching.

    I don't make a single one of the top ten ranking lists...

    Not number of posts or number of points or posts per week or LOL's or thumbs up or dislikes or thumbs down...

    Only one promote point and only 3 stars...

    Not even a combo badge or name drop badge...

    No locked posts or poofed posts or moved to politics forum posts badges....

    I don't make the top ten most hated list either.

    Very troubling and perplexing and vexing.

    To have the strength to slay the dragon one must be worthy.   Alas, with only three stars I know I have yet to prove myself worthy of even the most meager of attempts.   Await dear princess, I will never forsake the quest to free you.
