  Of the top 20 U.S. jockeys by earnings, 15 are of Mexican/Spanish decent.
  

  The weight of a jockey usually ranges from 108 to 118 lb (49 to 54 kg).
  

  My question would be, why would anyone want to starve themselves like jockeys and fashion models?

  Can't you just see Bubba on a race horse? Going to have to stir the pot and ask Blacks why they have been out of horse racing. The Kentucky Derby needs some diversity just like NASCAR .

  Nononsense, that is an easy one to answer.  Look up the top jockeys earnings per year.  Money is always a great reason to do it.  Plus they are little men.  Women are not attracted to little men but they are VERY attracted to men with money!!

  Wasn't a money question... in fact I thought they made more. African Americans..Blacks in horse racing as jockey's ... where are they ?
