A first...
I love the view I have across my kitchen island out the large sliding doors to my little bit of heaven. I look up and out every time I get a chance just to see what I can see. This evening I glanced up and saw something I have never seen here on the farm, a bald eagle.
I'm wondering if the field being mowed enticed it in to do a little hunting? I'm hoping it returns and I get to see it again.

Our High School, neighborhood and many local areas are "Eagle" themed but they have been missed for quite a few years. This nest is about 20 miles from us and has been producing clutches since at least 2012. I have heard calls near us this spring and understand there is a nest on the lake about a mile from the house but have not seen the parents yet. But we have not been out on the lake much this season. Hope to be able to share some pics when we find them! 0 -
I go past 4 pair every day and can never get enough of em'!
This is a good site by the eaglets have pretty much outgrown the nest and are ready to leave for the year. Tune in about late february to begin seeing the show till june.
