I have been wondering. What if we take ALL the statues down?
Say we call the "leaders" and we say WHAT DO YOU WANT and after they lay it all out the things we may not want to do but that are happening anyway we give them. ( I kinda get it wouldn't be cool in Germany to have a Adolf Hitler Elementary School anyway)
You want the names changed and the statues down fine.
BUT this whole agreement comes with two sides, afterwards say a few months later YOU MUST go into your own communities and start protesting and demanding that Black lives matter to Black people. You insist that parents are held accountable for the children's grades. Crime rates need to be brought down. Black employment and wages must go up. I guess while I understand you may have things that bother you, you STILL need to own up to your own success and the desire to achieve it.

It's the numbers game and conservative whites can't rule anymore because they have no off spring.The Democrats know if they just sit back and watch that the country can change drastically with no effort on their part. The only fly in the salad is If it gets out of hand and Martial law can be enacted and elections be suspended. So far President Trump is losing the battle.The military is behind who ever is the perceived winner in November. They will not act unless pushed. Trump knows it too!
The wild card however is The Wuhan Cov-19 and The economy.

Nearly another one-quarter of mothers—23.2 percent—were co-breadwinners, bringing home between 25 percent and 49 percent of earnings for their families.
Notable findings by race reveal that black and Latina mothers are more likely to be breadwinners than white mothers. Furthermore, a substantial 84.4 percent of black mothers were primary, sole, or co-breadwinners in 2017, compared with 60.3 percent of Latina mothers and 62.4 percent of white mothers. In 1964 LBJ establish The Equal rights amendment and The poor uneducated blacks got their chance,now they want whites to erase all white history up to 1964 and pay them off again.
