Man folks in the movies of the '80s smoked a lot
I was watching "Project Blue Book" season 2 and since I was on an alien trip I broke out my 20th anniversary Alien triple feature. Those people smoked a lot in the future also good to know in the future people still has porno magazines. Strange bit was the only brotha in "Alien" said the word ask instead of "aks". So maybe Ebonix will be gone by the time of space travel? Also the cost of the space mining vehicles will be affordable at $42 Millions. So I figure sometime in between "Alien" and "Star Trek" people stopped smoking in spaceships.
I also picked up "Cannonball Run" when I was out getting the Family Size Lasagna. I thought Daisy Dukes was in that movie but she wasn't so I guess I never saw "Cannonball Run". After IMDB-ing I saw that Daisy was in "Cannonball Run 2". Now I think about it if I even saw that, too? Anyways they smoked a lot, too. Maybe they got funding from the cigarette companies? Dude did mention they got cash from 7/11 and Budweiser. So getting product placement from cigarette company is a possibility.

I'm not sure how old you are but if you haven't watched any tv from the 50's or 60's you probably wouldn't think they smoked alot in the 80's. Any detective, war, mystery, romance, police etc. movie it was almost required that they smoked.
For me to like a movie , everyone in it has to be already dead. I can't watch the new stuff and absolutely despise CGI in any form. ( The "new" Midway" made me sick. Good thing I didn't pay to see it.)0 -

Hey-Hey-Hey. Nothing wrong with a good stogie now & then
