Slightly used gun (Glock 19 gen 3)
what would you give for the gun, 500rds of WPA 9MM, and about 5 - 15rd mags? My grandmothers husband died and I plan to buy this from her. Gun doesn't look used honestly from looking at the slide and mag followers, I'm not sure he even ran more than a mag or two through it. I can't really get a good feel on price on the gun since new and used seem to be about 400-600. I was thinking 600-650.
-
Normal price on a gen 3 is $500 brand new, 500rds of 9mm is around $100 bulk priced and 3 extra mags are $90. Thats all new retail prices when times are normal, which are skewed high right now though. Glocks are selling for around $200-300 more than normal on the auction side because of the mass panic buying going on right now. 6 -
600-650 I think is solid. Things, some, are high now but artificially inflated. 6 -
$550
$400 for the Glock, $100 for the ammo& 50 for the mags. They normally come with 3 mags.

Thanks for the help y'all.

All great comments. I would also consider: 1) Do I want this gun or am I doing this as a favor?, 2) Is there sentimental value to me/others?, and 3) Are there strings (i.e., if I buy it, am I expected to keep it because of the lineage)? 0 -

Gen 4 and 5 come with 3 mags. Gen 3 and prior only 2.

This is a reasonable offer...I wouldn't pay anymore then this.Warbirds said:$550

Actually have been wanting a new pistol for awhile since the one I carry developed a weird magazine issue. All she wants is them out of the house since she's not a gun person in anyway. I just want to make sure she gets a fair deal on them. Since pricing seems scattered, why I'm here.

Reasonable offer in normal times / among friends and family.
Looking at sales history on the Auction side G19's are selling in the $600 to $900 range as result of the run on guns:

For me, as the buyer, On a deal like this, Im not going to factor in short term panic buying.
But wow!
Its a used Gen3 and there are literally millions out there.

If you are a veteran and have a GT distributor nearby......wait until they open the blue label program to vets. They do it once a year. In the past years I have purchased 3 G19s (1 gen 4 and 2 gen 5's) for under $500 each. 0 -

I agree in a friends / family deal - I'm not going to pay panic prices. If joker was going to flip it fast for additional cash, I'd toss granny a few more bucks after the sale.3 -
drobs You might remember I have a Gen5 19 MOS showing up that I won from Glock. @these prices I might have to sell it, instead of adding a 6th Glock 9mm to the safe. I guess we will see when it finally arrives at my FFL what prices are doing in the next few weeks.

You can also join GSSF for 2 years ($60) and get 2 vouchers for the GSSF pricing which is the same as Blue Label. But yes, last year I bought a Blue label priced gun via my DD214.
Glock wants to make shooters!

Hindsight being 2020 - should've grabbed a few extra back when they were cheap and readily available.
Passed on some $200 - $300 LE trade in G22s, G23s, and G27s.
I keep an eye on that A-List site, Glocks are going for big $$$ on there as well.
Seem to be in high demand.
