It takes too long to get up anymore. Used to practice prone, well, see above.

Use a laser sight and it's easy to get on target even if you're upside down.

    Laying down and prone.
However, I test so many reloads, it seems most of my shooting is from a bench.

JMHO, and for personal defense, I do not like lasers, especially at night.
I know the cool factor kicks in for the Schwarzenegger fans, but to the bad guys they are than position indicators, places to aim.   There is a reason the military dont use them on small arms.

Question: If you've drawn your gun and activated the laser since you feel threatened,  doesn't the bad guy already know where you are?
In the only confrontation I've had in recent history, two scum bags approached me in a moderately lit restaurant parking lot asking if I had any money.  I suggested that the amount I carried wasn't worth their lives and when the laser hit the leader's chest the #2 man ran like a little girl who saw a spider. The primary raised his hands and backed all the way to their car.

I practice like a man should, standing on my two feet, one handed with handguns and offhand with rifles.  If I desire to actually hit something I use the bench..... :o
