You might look into Chromium, which is the browser that Chrome is based on - except that Chromium does not have the tracking telemetry that Google maliciously wired into Chrome. Chromium is open-source and runs on pretty much any OS. Even on Windows if you are still so naive as to be using that horrible prison of a system - and one which tracks you even worse than Google does, if that's possible. 0 -
I have been well served by Firefox for over 6 years, when I gave up on IE. I tried Edge and Bing, but didn't care for either one.Edge was preinstalled on my desktop when Microsoft forced W-10 on everyone. Several experts I know, like:
DuckDuckGo > a Firefox add on.

What's in it for any of these systems if they can't track you? Nothing is for free. If you think you've found one that's not tracking well, dream on. If you're worried about privacy then you best just stay off the Internet. 6 -

I'm with the previous poster. If you think any of the browsers you use, aren't tracking you. I'm sure you also believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny. Nothing is free on the net. The data they get from you. Is worth big bucks to various advertisers, along with other assorted low life's.
Same, same, the dark net. The fools that believe they can get away with any kind of illegal activity on it, are deluding themselves. Check out the story, of Ross Ulbircht, aka Dread Pirate Robert. Of Silk Road fame. He's doing life in a federal slammer. Because he was convinced, the dark net would protect his anonymity.0 -

Almost all Linux systems are completely free, most come with Firefox (and lots of other "Windows replacement" software) and are the least susceptible to malware of all operating systems. And they do NOT track you. Almost anyone can learn Linux, and many are designed to mimic what you are already used to, be it Mac or Win. Linux is a bit different, but not difficult.
You can try any or all versions of it from a USB stick, without ever changing a thing on your current machine. There are many YouTube vids about the process, all the popular versions, and more.
I know I'll never go back. (Running Linux Mint 19.3 - Cinnamon with Firefox and DD Go.)
