Tentatively, after a review of what I made last year vs. My out of pocket medical expenses. I am right on the edge.
I have had my last two appointments canceled due to Covid-19 concerns, the only people they are seeing are Emergency cases. Was asked if I wanted to change my appointments to a "Virtual visit." I explained that I needed someone to confirm my nose was pretty much blocked, and I was looking for a referral for corrective surgery. Have now had a nasal infection for the past two weeks.
So, tentatively Yes. (But) Unable to be seen currently.

I'm trying to get in the system but got denied. 0 -
I wish you luck Sir. I was denied last year based on monetary income.
Re-applied after the New Year, when they had a Mobile sign up event in our County prior to them opening a local Community Care Center here in our small town. It is apprx. a 3 hour round trip to get to the closest VA here. They have delayed the opening of the local center until after the Covid-19 scare.
I just put in a call, asking if they could call in a prescription of antibiotics to my local pharmacy, to get over this nasal infection. Sounded like it would be okay. Waiting for a call back from my Primary Care Physician.
I keep waiting for them to notify me they have reviewed my financials, and I do not qualify.

Sick people are getting sicker and some dying because of this damdemic. Good friend had a check up scheduled for heart issues, nurse asked him if he was sick, answer, NO. Nurse said they were not seeing any sick people. WTH, I thought that was what a doctor visit was for. Another instance a gentleman, 61 years of age, not far from here was complaining of chest pain, fellow employees loaded him up to go to ER, he said no just take me home they won't see me and I might even get the bat flu at the hospital. Opened the car door to help him into the house and he fell DRT on the ground. Chicken little says the sky is falling and everyone goes full blown stupid. My 2 cents.Don't get me started on my pancake syrup, I predicted that years ago.0

You could tell when I had my "Virtual appointment," today. Every third question was trying to single out whether I had Covid-19 symptoms. I was surprised out of all the extensive questions they asked me, they never once asked me about any heart issues, until I relayed my history.
Was told that the VA had just this week opened to seeing 25% of their previous patient load. They were nice enough to overnight me some antibiotics and a steroid nasal spray. Want me to come in for a CAT scan in a couple weeks to get a look at my blocked nasal passages. Told them right side 95-98% blocked. Left side maybe 80% blocked.
Told them I had had two appointments canceled by them in the last 4 months, when they asked me why I had waited so long.
