Flag Day June 14 2020
My Flags are out (as always).
Flag Day falls within National Flag Week, a time when Americans reflect
on the foundations of the nation’s freedom. The flag of the United
States represents freedom and has been an enduring symbol of the
country’s ideals since its early days. During both events, Americans
also remember their loyalty to the nation, reaffirm their belief in
liberty and justice, and observe the nation’s unity.

The 25 ft with a 3x5 in front of the Gun Shop is lit with a Solar spot lite. My 40ft pole with a 5x8 in front of the house is lit by a spot light. Both up 24/7- 365. 0 -
Thieves kept stealing a large American flag from a 75' pole in front of a local hotel. As expensive as the flag was, it cost more to have the cable replaced each time they cut it. As the cable/lock was 20' up, I suggested that they Vaseline the pole. No more problems. 0 -
Flag day originated in Waubeka, Wi. back in the 1880's. The U.S. government liked it so much they made it a Holiday of sorts. 0
