Walther P1 & P38
I have a P1, P38 and a Manurhin P38. If I wanted to use one as a shooter, which one would be the best choice?

all of the above, if properly cared for shooting will not 'degrade' a gun 0 -
You should know ---- many of the P1's & P38's, which have an aluminum frame, have a tendency for the frame to crack after a moderate amount of use. To prevent that, they added a hex shaped bolt through the frame just above the trigger. So, you can decide which you want to use as a "shooter".Neal

Have put countless rounds thru my P38 and still a great shooter. Seems to lost favor with the striker fired fad. I have never seem a P38 fail. Have had some FTF issues with old German ammo, but with DA, you get to pull the trigger twice and it will go bang. 0
