Kung Flu....Ya Actually Know Someone That Got It?
Well after all these months I finally know(of)someone who actually caught the Kung Flu. My brother's SO's Son in law.

Yes, though I haven’t talked to them. I did, however, talk to the man’s father and he said his son was only really sick for one day. He is in his early 50’s and a smoker. 0 -

i live in the second highest county in mississippi for the virus but i dont know anyone with it or know of anyone who knows anyone with it, but im sure someone has it from listening to the news. 0 -

Wow, you must live in a highly populated area. We live in a county of 70K people(which is highly populated IMO), And our county has had 20 cases to date. I do not know any of them. It seems to be the luck of the draw. My county has had less than 200 cases with 30 deaths. The county just south of me has had over 8500 cases and over 1000 deaths. It has a much greater population which is why the difference is so great. Some of the deaths in my county occurred at a nursing home that I had visited several times early this year. So yes, I probably knew some of the fatalities but only very casually. BobHorse Plains Drifter said:

70 k county highly populated ? FL, Monroe county that is mostly southern everglades and the FL keys has 742.436 residents, the next county to the north of us Dade has 2,744,878 residents and both have very low covid cases per capita, I guess up north must be the bad weather with a sprinkle of bs or something.Horse Plains Drifter said:

One of my customers and his wife both had it. He is mid seventies with heart issues. Said the only issues he had was a fever and diarrhea. 0 -
Lost my oldest brother this past Wednesday to it. He was in a nursing home recovering from a stroke. 0 -
We think mom (70’s, decent health) had it in January but not confirmed.
My 20-something nephew’s girlfriend was diagnosed this week so he probably has it too.
The GM at one of our companies In Indiana lost 3 older relatives to it, they were all in nursing homes.
A friend of a friend lost 2 relatives, again older with preexisting issues & in nursing homes.
My condolences to those who have lost loved ones. Congrats to those who beat it.

My wife and I both had it back in March and over 30 from our church had it. We lost 4 from our church due to the virus.

My grandson, 19, had a virus really bad around new year. Had it really bad for two weeks. He was staying with us and neither me nor mrsdeere got sick. I don’t know... 0 -

I live in a rural area and work in the meat packing/processing industry. I am unsure how I caught it. The virus, thankfully, did not affect me. I did take the test and was positive for covid 19 but was completely asymptomatic. Quite a few of my coworkers and friends were not so lucky and had varying degrees of symptoms and ailments.
I am scheduled to donate plasma to check for the antibodies and hopefully help others.

My nephew got it. He is 52 and diabled and has siezures. He had a siezure and fell and got hurt and went to hospital and then had to go to rehab facility. They think he got it in rehab facility becuase they had other COVID patients all on the same floor.
Luckily he survived and only had to be on oxygen and did not have to the intubated.0 -
As it so happens, one of my employees died after a short bout of symptoms very similar to those of COVID-19. We'd been working/traveling together a few days prior to her hospitalization and passing away. Approx 2 weeks later, I became extremely ill with pneumonia like symptoms. Seems very suspicious to me.
I'll get the "you had it and lived" test when it becomes more available and fool proof.0 -

Laid me out flat for about a week, and took me out of circulation for about 2.5 weeks after that. Lost 14 lbs and never felt worse ever. That was some BAD S*!! BUT, it was before the whole C-19 MSM meltdown, so I don't know what it was. It was bad though!Personally, I think the virus was around a lot longer than what they've been saying.
