I call these Sako-style extractors except you only have one of the parts to the set:
You need all three pieces for it to work correctly.

    Best.

Sako extractors are used on the 700 and 7 when the bolt face has been opened up for a cartridge with a larger base diameter, the AR-16 extractors are used as well. It's not a drop in though, machine work is required.

Sako and M16 extractors can be used when the bolt face remains the same diameter without any increase in size. You need to match the extractor size to the rim size of the cartridge being used in the bolt since the radius changes and the depth of the body cut changes as well.

The Sako requires two set ups on the mill while the m16 only needs one. Both need a lathe to remove the existing extractor or to open up the bolt face.
    M16 Extractor

Charges for the work can run between $125 and $175 depending on the gunsmith.

    Best.
