Well, that was quick! Buck knife sheath ...

Hey all y'all!
I thought I'd put in a good word for Buck Knives ( https://www.buckknives.com/ ).
I needed to replace the belt sheath for my Buck 112 folder and, after looking in vain on the Gunbroker website, I decided to go straight to the source.
Found the Buck Knives website and placed an order for the sheath on Monday morning this week, and it was here in Thursday's mail! Fits my folder nice and snug!
Gotta say I'm pleased with it, their customer service and their delivery time! Thought I'd share it with all y'all, because good service is hard to find these days!
Big Al (have to say I'm happier than Ken's dog, Buddy, after he's had snacks and a run in the yard! Glad to be able to carry my Buck knife on my belt again.) :);)

    Glad you got your sheath so quickly. Good service is indeed getting increasingly hard to come by.

    Buck knives is a good company.  I carried one for years, I think it was a 110 in a leather belt sheath carrier.  I traded it to a German Soldier when I went to Alpine climbing school in Germany in the 80's.

    I replaced it with a Case Sodbuster with a liner lock.  I like the Sodbuster better because it had tool steel and would stay sharp better than the SS Buck would.  Plus you can get a tool steel knife sharper than stainless IMO. 

    Then the Leatherman came out and they were great just what I needed except they were SS but I lived with it.

    Glad to hear Buck is still a good company.

    When I was working I met the old man Buck, as his house was burning down. He noticed my 110 folder and asked if he could see it. He looked it over and the tip had broken off some years earlier. He asked me if he could have his people fix it for me. So even with his house burning down in Blossom Valley he is thinking of his product. I was impressed. So a few days later I picked it up at their front desk good as new.
    Since then they moved from Santee to Idaho. Couldn't agree more as I moved from Commie Ka. to Idaho afew years ago.

    The last Christmas present my dad gave me was a Buck 110. Still have it and use it. They can bury me with it.

    I packed a 110 for years when I was cowboyin'.  Wish I knew where it wound up!
