Thanks guys, Yes its really nice she even let me drive it. But it has the system when you stop the motor drops down like it shut off. Then when you let off the brake it goes right back to running. It takes time to get used too. Supposed to save gas I guess. 0 -
Congrats to your daughter...and you, too! 0 -
Did she get a puppy with it? 0 -
Did you say 125k warranty? 0 -

Ecoboost...had one, and they are fun trucks...it's like a Mustang with a 4wd and a bed! Ruby Red for the win! 0 -
mmppres There is a button on the dash to turn off that rediculous feature. The button is in the top center of the dash. It has a circular arrow surrounding the letter A. Just push the button after you start the engine each time and it will stop that nonsense until you shut it off, then you will have to repeat the process each time you drive the truck.Mine has the 2.7 V-6 w/twin turbos. That thing is a monster that still averages 21.4 MPG.

my 2015 didn't have that , but my 2018 does , real pain in the back side ..... my 15 was just about the same color and had the 5.0 in it , that thing would flat scoot0 -
Auto Stop/Start....easy hack, if she doesn't like the feature you can push the button in, and slide a black zip tie under it and that keeps it wedged and off. Then trim it down tot he button so you don't even notice it. I did that on my 2017. There are other ways to disable the auto stop/start but this is the easiest and can be undone by pulling out the zip tie.mmppres said:Thanks guys, Yes its really nice she even let me drive it. Thank you us55840. I am not an automotive engineer, although, I did attend Ga. Tech for 6 months.
And it seems to me like a good way to wear out the starter motor and the battery.0 -
Thanks guys for that info. I can turn it off if she will let me drive it. Yes the dealer could not come down on the price due to being at the purchasing price. So i had them give us the extended warranty. Which is 125k miles or 5 years. They don't know that I have 232k on my 2012 Chevy truck from doing gun show all across the state.
