2020 GMC SIERRA 1500 DENALI 6.2 L V8
My oldest son bought a nice truck the other day. It's a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2 L V8, 420 hp with a 10 speed auto transmission. He bought it fully loaded. It's amazing at the advances they've made in trucks in the past 10 to 15 years. Makes my old Silverado feel like a T Model.

I looked at one at the dealer when I bought my Acadia - that is a super sharp truck. Judy liked the retractable running boards, but I convinced her we were DOWNsizing and didn't need anything that big. Sure was tempting though. Bob 0 -
Did he tell you how much $$$$$$$$.The 6.2 is a beast, feed it 93 octane and you will be impressed. My 2013 Yukon has the 6.2 and it will shake a leg.

Someone told me they bought a top of the line Ram and it was $77,000.My first thought was if a Dodge is 77 grand, how much is a new top of the line Denali. 0 -
The new GMC/Chevy full size are the best looking out there. This is coming from a Ford guy that drives a 07 Tacoma.
Very nice truck.

As a current Ford guy I'll have to disagree, the GMC is good looking but the Chevrolet is hideous. I'm not brand specific, I've owned them all, but Chevy went horribly wrong with this model, plus the interior has really cheap plastics. The Limited 3.5 ecoboost is still king in the 1/2 ton truck market, even over the 6.2 in the Denali.RobOz said:The new GMC/Chevy full size are the best looking out there. He shopped around and it was the best deal by far.
Worth the 2.5 hour drive.
A friend bought his truck there.
He had asked any of the 3 local dealers to come within $1000 of their price and he would buy there. None could or would.
While we were there, a guy from Indiana was there buying a big GMC truck.3 -
I friend has a 2500 Denali Duramax (diesel) w/ Allison. Says MSRP was $90k but he travelled halfway across the country and got it for $58k. He debadged it and now the truck looks mundane and respectable. Might ought to be 80,000.00 and then 70,000.00, like to see the receipt on that one.Gas maybe but unlikely diesel.
