    Testing, tracing and isolating infected people.  Not isolating people showing symptoms.
    So, you get fingered in the tracing scam, and have to quarantine for 14 days even if asymptomatic when they say transmission from asymptomatic people is very rare. 
    This is beginning to look more and more like an elaborate test to see what government can get away with.  There are governors who have committed to house arrest if fingered in a trace.  If contacted, put your governor's name on the top of your list of contacts.

    It is the silliest bunch of mess ever.    It seems like they are trying to prove how relevant they are by playing the biggest shell game ever.    Its dangerous to go out.......you need to wear masks and gloves......it lives on surfaces.....its airborne.....heat kills it.....it can live in your deep freezer for years....Memaw will die if you go to a department store.    Now its ok to have giant gatherings, masks are only used to sort out who are total morons and cannot properly put a mask on their face at a glance (a shocking number of people), and you can sprinkle Covid-19 on your breakfast cereal and eat it without ever feeling a symptom unless you have some genetic flaw......but those people are totally screwed.

    Translation... We have contaminated the coffee you drink,  Pepsi, Coke, Rice, potato chips, pork and beans, along with krispy donuts. In 39 hours after eating some will feel the side effects. So when we contaminate the next time around when the other hits the bloodstream we won't have to worry about paying social security or people voting in Nov. BTW.. the masks look funny on y'all.

    Well, I wouldn't call it silly.  Barrons is a great place to get your news if you work in the business world, but not so helpful if you need medical information.  They certainly didn't make this clear.  WHO was talking about the possibility that some people are infected with covid-19 & spread the disease, but never actually showed any sign that they themselves were sick with it.  All of you are too young to remember Typhoid Mary (see Dr Google for her story).  But, it has not been shown that the same thing happens with covid-19. 
    A nursing home near me was recently tested for covid-19.  Of 232 people (staff & patients), 18 showed positive on the test.  After 2 weeks, none showed any symptom, & all were released from quarantine.  The health department said officially that all 18 were "asymptomatic".  But, the real problem was the test; 7.75% of the tests were "false positives".  They really shouldn't have used the word "asymptomatic".
    It's worse than that.  There are at least 10 tests in use, maybe more.  Some show a high number of false positives, some show a high number of false negatives, & some are just contaminated.  None have been tested by CDC & approved by the FDA.  Only 1 (made by Abbott Laboratories) has been tested by CDC & is expected to be approved by the FDA.  So, medical people are making decisions on whether or not people are infected based on these tests, which often are just plain wrong.
    Maryland's governor bought 500,000 test kits from South Korea, & paid almost $20 each.  But, our brilliant medical experts failed to ensure that swabs & reagents (chemicals to complete the test) were in the kits, so they sit unused in a secret warehouse.

    I think that the quarantine and shutdown crap is all just a leftist plot to destroy the world economy so the Illuminati can take over and institute a new world order  :o ........seriously though, the democrats in this country have certainly used it to their advantage. As Saul Alenski said......"never let a serious crisis go to waste".

    Unfortunately the tendency to allow those theories to invade seems to be prevalent across the board. The WHO announcing and then walking back the rarity of asymptomatic transmission was totally irresponsible. Those that wish to believe one way or the other will not change their minds and nothing but the current confusion will continue. Not being a medical professional leaves me at a disadvantage when deciphering the often confusing messages being put out by the "experts". Common sense would indicate that if a asymptomatic virus carrier should sneeze or cough on you then the virus could be transmitted. Now we have national guard troops testing positive from their riot postings last week. Not a surprise if asymptomatic transmission is possible. Bob

    I'd like to say that whenever someone lies to me, I'll never believe them again. Of course, it's not that simple.

    The facts are that we're lied to on a regular basis, for a variety of reasons.

    W.H.O. lied to us!

    The Surgeon General lied to us!

    The chinese communist party lied to us!

    In all of these cases the lies had potentially deadly consequences, and I find that unconscionable.

    Consequently, I will look askance at any information I hear about this so called "pandemic".
