    Randy, I saw your google search, and went out just now to double check my tires.

    They are indeed Nexen. Sorry for the confusion.

    So Nexum Wintertrek, actually became/is Nexen Winterguard. I was close. 😣😮🙄

    Ken, don't know if my education about winter snow tires is correct, but what I read\heard is that they are made out of softer rubber materials and degrade quickly on bare pavement.  Best to change out quickly when conditions improve to save tread to get a few seasons out of them.

    I have heard and aware of the same Brookwood. (One of the reasons, besides tread pattern they grip better.) I expected more wear on these. However this year since last Nov. I have done very little driving at all.

    This is my second winter with these, and they look almost new. Previous winter, I did use my Jeep more. (Harsher winter.) Almost no winter driving last winter.

    For no particular reason I checked today while out truck hunting . Dodge now equips most of their trucks from the factory with nexen tires . Saw a dozen of them on a lot today and that's what was on all of them.
