Question if something is allowed.......

Am I allowed to post the name of a website of an up-coming ON-SITE auction that members in that general area might be interested in attending?  I do not know if that comes under "commercial advertisement of a web-site" or not since it is a on-site auction.  I do not want to offend the powers the auction side or forum admins.

    Follow those instructions and you'll be fine. 

    In fact, the advice was so good that I have given savage170 his second promote. Of course no one knows what promote actually is, or if it does anything, but he's earned two of them.

    Okay Mark, here goes.........if any members in the South Central to South East Missouri area is not aware of an on-site auction with about 85-90 Browning rifles/shotguns in it on June 20th, they can pm me for additional information if interested.

    The less advertising the better. If you are interested send the PM. No need to make a public announcement which is apt to draw attention (possibly unwelcome).
