You may be over feeding your outdoor cats. You want them a little hungry at different parts of the day. :)

You need to baptize him in the pond.

Susie.  No matter what they tell you, that IS NOT a squirrel. :)

I have relocated about 9 of 'em.  Caught them in the Havahart, I drove them about 11 miles away.  They would have to cross the Ivy River and the French Broad River to get back home.

My daughter relocated a coon (raccoon, what the? Auto censor) this morning. It had killed 7 out of her 15 baby 1/2 grown ducks the day before.

Of course, it’s carcass was relocated to the burn pile.

I don't understand relocating them to make them someone else's problem.

So FCD, <Green font On> I’m not sure I’m picking up on the hint completely, you saying that you’re not a fan? <Green font Off>

I put 'em out in the country, a mile and a half from any house.  Still, you have a point, it is possible that the rat could infest another house.  I just don't like to kill any of God's creatures, if I don' t have to.
To that end, I just smelled some rat wee wee in my Nissan in the carport, I just bought another electric rat repeller for the carport, plus two more.  The damn squirrels are chewing on the dovetail notches of the house and I am going to put a electric rat repeller on the big porches, on two corners of the house, and run the damn squirrels off.
I did whack a squirrel last week with a 20 gauge shotgun with #8 shot, he died quick.

That's a PACK RAT!!  KILL IT!!!  DEAD!!
    Then...KILL IT AGAIN (for me)!
Then...KILL IT AGAIN (for my skidsteer)
Then...KILL IT AGAIN (for my pickup)
Then run over it a few times just for revenge!!
Care to share how you feel about them.

Our little girl brought us a bushy tailed vole today. She earns her kibble keeping the vermin at bay. Today she'll get a can of cat food.

Mr. Rat, I have a writ here that says you are to stop eating Susie’s cornmeal forthwith. Now, It's a rat writ, writ for a rat, and this is lawful service of same! See? He doesn't pay any attention to me. You can't serve papers on a rat, baby sister. You either kill him or let him be.
