Don't know anything specific, about the James River Armory's BM-59's. If it is used surplus parts, with a U.S. made receiver? Would only buy it, on approval/replacement guaranteed basis. 0 -
thanks, I purchased one and having issues. Firing uncontrollable full auto, or magazine and trigger housing will fall out failure to fire and failure to eject. 0 -
Sorry I can't help with your issue, but you should not post stuff like "Firing uncontrollable full auto" on a public forum. You might just get the terrorists with badges smashing in your front door in the middle of the night. 0 -
Don't know what kind of guarantee or warranty you got from classic? If any at all? Definitely would contact them, regarding it running away in full auto.RJ Surplus said:thanks, I purchased one and having issues. Very tactfully, inform them that. If they don't replace or repair the BM-59. You will contact the ATF, about them selling a firearm that fires full auto. Hopefully you have retained, all the sales and transfer documentation. You obtained, when purchasing the BM-59 from them. Be sure to include copies of all this documentation, in case they have a sudden lapse in memory. Regarding the sale of the BM-59 to you.
Similar thing happened to me, 3 years ago. With that European American Armory, outfit out of Florida. Bought one of their Italian made 1911's. Had problems with it, and sent it back for repair. They never fixed it, and wouldn't respond to my E-mails or phone calls. Contacted their Local Better Business Bureau. One of their honchos called me up, with a big chip on his shoulder. Informed me, that they would refund the purchase price that I had payed for the pistol. T'd me off as I wanted the pistol fixed. Not only didn't get the pistol back, but wound up in the hole, for the dealer transfer and shipping fees.0
