42, counting the only fasteners on the gun, the grip screws. 0 -

I would ballpark a 1911 around 50 parts, including the magazine & its components.
I can tell you all the extra stuff they have you won’t find on a Glock if that is extra credit!

Well, it seems not even the internet searches can provide a definite number. The numbers vary between 48 and 58. They get into things like counting all the grip panel screws as 1 or as individuals. Same with the magazine, count the entire magazine as 1 or break it down also. 0
