Reasons why the people will not unite

I'll start it off:

The riots in Minneapolis are due to law enforcement targeting and murdering blacks.

The riot against the defenders of General Robert E. Lee's monument in Charlottesville began for what reason(s)?

I would never support a demonstration with people involved with looting...burning okay, but not looting!
 
Will politicians use COVID to divide the people like they have done on so many other fronts?

    in part you can blame Pres Johnson and his great society for helping put our special citizens on a pedestal......and most of the giant apartment buildings that were put up have been trashed and now demolished....so much money wasted.... most of their response to any perceived grievance is to express the desire get FREE stuff ...if i owned a store  servicing their needs and had it looted, trashed or burned i would NEVER build it back there again.....screw em

    Things are looking up.  The more division we have in the media, the better the chance that the populace will see themselves as being equal in all aspects, and see the race hustlers, news reporters, and politicians at all levels as being the evil doers that they are, in order for the majority of them to be able to put aside their differences such as race, slogans, and symbols in order to assemble and demonstrate in a winning fashion as one body.  I regret that I'll never see that day.

    First of all I do not believe a persons color has anything to do with their actions. I have lived in areas with almost no minorities, and the white people of low character were the problem people there.
    I think people regardless of color, with no jobs, no morals, no proper upbringing and a total lack of societal accountability will react exactly as we have seen them do.
    If we don't hold people accountable for their own actions and we excuse or blame everything on the fact that we are a specific color, tribe, creed, nationality or whatever that starts the failure. PC is a disease.

     I agree where the color factor is concerned.  However, the people are assembled because they are angry and not all of them are jobless, without morals and/or proper upbringing...rioting is just about a given in such situations.  That said, the politicians, press, and the hustlers are NOT going to point this out to anyone.  All too many of their type wants us to think this way.  What stops other people from uniting there and from other points around the world in mind and spirit has to do, to some extent, with the Politically Correct divide and conquer strategies that cause other people to be repelled by the thought of rising up and joining-in, in droves like they did in MLK's day...but an awful lot of sympathy has been lost since then.  For example, we don't see people wearing T-Shirts that say Black and White and All Lives Matter at these type demonstrations.  My point then is quite obviously, that if someone wants someone's help, then treat them as your equal, while at the same time being tolerant of the less desirable among us, where things like race, symbols, and heritage come into play.  Either that or go it alone and with the hustlers' of all color, only, as has become the norm.

    I support anyones right to peacefully protest but there are some that use that right as an excuse to infringe on the rights and property of others.
    Kimi I am a little disturbed by your comment that burning is O.K. but looting is bad. Some would take it that if the Minn. protesters had only burned down and not looted the stores first that would be all right with you. I guess I can't agree if that is what you meant. My apologies if I misunderstood, but it seemed a little odd.  Bob

    Kimi I am a little disturbed by your comment that burning is O.K. but looting is bad. Some would take it that if the Minn. protesters had only burned down and not looted the stores first that would be all right with you. I guess I can't agree if that is what you meant.     I did get a laugh out of the cops taking a page from the Koreans playbook when L.A. looted. I reckon this will happen everywhere since folks are sitting at home and got nothing to do. Especially California with the 'tard newsom with the catch and release "no bail" silliness. Also with grand or less theft it should be open season.

    As for "uniting"? Need a common enemy. At this level something global. Like "Independence Day" or "Mars Attack" level.

    Good statements where the subject for uniting people between common enemies (Americans and Brits - Revolutionary War) is concerned, or something global.  I'd add civil unrest due to domestic tyrants as well.

    Yep, and their race handlers, media and politicians play them and typical citizens like a Stradavarius, with the end result being Tower of Babel like.

    Wait until inflation hits and /or a sudden devaluation of the dollar happens,all hell is going to break out. It won't be racism
       that causes the riots then.Class warfare will be an understatement.It will be the great unveiling of The NWO and  a police state on steroids.

    mohawk600 - China? Theirs is an economic one. They're so deep in Africa and when things go bad (as it often does) they will be screwed. Be it warlords, new jungle plagues, droughts, tin pot dictators, not plays well Islamists. When Americans stop buying cheap they're double screwed. Yeah, pharmaceuticals has to come back home so we won't be under their whim. We also need to stop relying on them to buy what we grow since we don't make much. Other than movies and porn.

    Wow! I ask you to explain an ambiguous comment and you take offense. I think you are the one assuming that I have a negative opinion about your convictions. The only thing I have noticed is that you don't like anyone asking you to defend any of your comments. Perhaps an honest discussion would have proved fruitful with one or both of us learning something. I am not to old to learn something new but maybe you think you are. Too bad, staying in your comfort zone can be boring and not very enlightening. Bob
