Anyone familiar with the stoeger 2000 shotgun?
hello, been cleaning a friends 12 gauge stoeger 2000. at the breech end of the barrel is what is call the barrel extension which on all other guns are usually a fixed or just the end of the barrel. this piece is threaded and when i got it it was loose. question is, does it suppose to be? given the the gun is inertia driven and bolt rotates when it goes in and out of battery. does this piece suppose to move with the bolt? anyway, i locked tighten it where i beleive it should be, but im second guessing myself? it was jamming, but now its not. i know everything sounds ok but something still doesnt seem right the way bolt closes, any help?

That isn't a part that's suppose to come loose! Stoeger uses LocTite when they put them on. It would have to be clocked/timed with the bolt for it to properly lock in battery. 0 -
if thats the case im sure im good. thing is, it has the camo wrap finish so you can see exactly where it was originally 0
