Well I purchased some ammunition... I love ammunition... however the seller has sent it USPS Priority.
I reckon I cannot accept it or be in just about as much trouble as seller. Is there anything that will make me feel better losing my money?

So you are saying when it comes accept it although it was sent illegally?0 -
Well, yea, UPS has left ammo at the post office for me and I picked it up there , maybe written illegal but UPS drops ammo about anywhere they can leave it like a lot of parcels. 50-50 UPS items I get are picked up at the USPS near me. 0 -
I wouldn't worry over it and I'd just take the box. If you want to make sure this doesn't happen again I'd send the seller's a question on how they ship things just be sure it didn't happen again. I've never seen anyone get in trouble over this, but if they did it wouldn't be the buyer that got in trouble. 3 -
Out here, UPS sometimes hands packages off to USPS for delivery. Bottom line - if it arrives, take it and you’re golden... 0 -
UPS has nothing to do with this shipment. USPS counter to delivery. 0 -
I have bought some collectible ammo off GB and they sent it USPS even after I told them not to. I not behind any bars yet. I would take the box of ammo and enjoy it.

" it was sent illegally?"............not 'illegally'...........just against the rules (there is a difference), usps is not a government department, semi independent. I've gotten ammo from the big suppliers in the mail (brownell's, midway) 3 -
Not worth getting all worried over.

if the box is discovered by postal the seller is in the clink not you I remember during the the primer scare even on GB the sellers listed usps as shipping one rube got busted and got a 250,000 fine 0 -

If I were you I'd call Nancy Pelosi just to make sure it's legal. 3 -
Additional comment, IF it were me, pick it up and be done with it. Postal inspectors are like unicorns, one behind every tree in the Artic. Flame on, right now they can't get a priority box two states away in less than ten days/ Don't ask me how I know. 0
