A Question about Messaging

Am I correct that if I send someone a message it doesn't show on the forum board?  Meaning it's a private message.

    Correct. Keep in mind that the person who you wish to contact must have his (or her) forum account set to accept PMs.

    Well, I take that back. There used to be a post on it there. And now.... holy cow there seems to be a lot of unrelated stuff in there. I apologize for the misdirection.
