I'd be willing to try it. Probably not willing to buy it. Here in backwoods PA, we'll never see it. Something tells me even if you sear it as fast as possible, it would shrink up like brisket does.

Wagyu- I really like it but to be honest I find a good PRIME steak very similar.

Kobe- man, somewhere in here maybe 10 years back, I got a Kobe pot roast and did it in the crock pot. It was amazing. These guys were ready to run me out of Dodge over it! How dare I cook Kobe beef in a crock pot!

for my money Kobe is the top of the line.

Here is a Wagyu NY strip I did a while back on my Big Green Egg. Fantastic- wife was out of town so just did dinner for one. I assume this is low grade Wagyu as it was $50 for a lb or so...

I think I cooked it right anyway.

Why would anyone make pot roast out of Kobe beef?
I'm sure it tasted good but what a waste.

Ya beat me to it!! Why the HELL would someone waste a 5# hunk of KOBE on a pot roast...

    or burgers for that matter

Agreed. Good beef is meant to be eaten as a ribeye, new york strip or a tenderloin. The rest you can grind into hamburger.[:D]
