Memorial Day address by my late husband
As a Veteran and the postmaster in 2017 he was invited to give the keynote address at the Memorial Day ceremony. He wrote the address on one of our trips to Minnesota for his chemo.
At this point he had already begun using a walker to walk more than 10 steps and had lost about 50 pounds. He was determined to do this. He began with his notes and then never consulted them again as he spoke from his heart.
