  We lost over a hundred acres of young corn to them one year -- they'd been caught in a storm front and were hungry -- field looked like it had been plowed.

   Friend of mine had a home at the city lake. Goose poop everywhere. You couldn't stand to sit on their dock for the stench.

  my cousin who tends the farm has a permit to kill them in the spring when they are damaging the crops . They are year round residents here .
