Well I done it Update
Pulled the trigger on this pair of 16gauge Husqvarna Model 51's.

First came across them 2-3 months ago and talked myself out of it. Must have been Tuesday last week a friend asked if I had bought them. Curiosity got the best of me so I ran the search, and there they were with a $100 price reduction. I know I overpaid some, but I've been wanting one for near on twenty years.
I got'em picked up at the LGS yesterday and I'm more than pleased with the pair. Seller said they were tight on face, they're more than tight on face with shiny bores. They're as tight as when new and the bores, with exception for the one small dent, shine like a new dime up a dog's butt. Checked the barrel locking lugs for contact by marking with a sharpie and they show 90% or better. Now, if finding a forend for the one turns out as easy as finding a replacement for the broken trigger guard on the other was I'd be tickled pink.

Blasphemy! When I messaged seller he said they were both tight on face with good shiny bores. I'll first pattern the low pressure load I used in the Model 20 and then try other recipes more appropriate for the stronger action.
