Low to High Price Search

Have you ever noticed how the Sort By: Price: Low to High, you have to scroll through all the featured items before you can actually get to what might be the lowest price. This goes also for high to low or any other search, even if you look up closed/completed/ended auctions you have to scroll through all of the featured items, first. When the featured items thing first started only a few sellers were using it, now there's so many of them that you literally scroll through pages of high priced and over priced auctions, that are featured. To find the actual auctions that are what you searched for. I have had customers complain about this and some don't even realize that is how the system works. They thought they had found the lowest price item, because they scrolled through the auctions and the prices kept getting higher and higher. Had they kept scrolling past all the higher priced featured auctions they would have found prices lower than most of the featured auctions.  

Right now if you look at the Ruger 57's up for auction, you will see featured auctions with bids higher than non-featured Ruger 57's, I know different auctions offer different things and shipping cost and credit card fees. I compared apples to apples auctions, ony thing that makes sense is there are a lot of people who don't realize there are cheaper Ruger 57's if you scroll past the HIGH priced featured items. 

I've brought this to Gun Brokers attention, told them to take a poll or set up a discussion and see what the buyers and sellers have to say. Of course they didn't do it and the last thing they want to do is not get there $2.95 for each featured auction. I even gave them an option of having a special look up for the featured auctions, if you want to give those auctions/sellers specail treatement then do it give them there own sort by feature. Or at least add a feature so one can sort by what we want and not by what we want that is featured first.
