Eddie Haskell dies.
Ken Osmond, an actor best known for his role as troublemaker Eddie Haskell on "Leave It to Beaver," has died, his rep Bonnie Vent confirmed to CNN. Osmond, 76, played the iconic character, who was a frequent tormentor of Theodore "the Beaver" Cleaver, for the duration of the TV series, which ran from 1957-1963.
In 1970, Osmond joined the Los Angeles Police Department, serving as an officer until he was struck by five bullets during a chase with a suspected car thief and placed on disability before his retirement in 1988.

another actor from my youth I had long forgotten about .
but now that I think about it . he was a influence on me a bit later on .. every time ( and there was a lot of them ) I would get pulled over by take your choice local , sheriff or state LEO

Life was a lot simpler when the Beaver and Wally were on T.V. Growing up we probably all knew somebody like Eddie Haskell and Lumpy and the rest. They dressed a little nicer and stayed cleaner but the mannerisms were the same. Never knew anybody that had parents like the Cleavers but the kids weren't far off. Bob 0 -
